ritual : yearly review & preview
You can do this on your own, as little self-retreat;
You can also invite your friends to share this reflective moment together.
Start:
- Create time and space for yourself without being disturbed
- Create an environment where you feel at ease and cozy;
for example, Light a candle, incense, and play quiet, soothing music...
- Use a notebook and pen for writing or drawing
- Your calendar or diary in the current year

Settling:
- Set your writing material ready, gently close your eyes to turn inward, and just have this quiet, meditative moment for yourself, listening to your heart and your inner wisdom.
- Breathing, having a few rounds of deep inhalation and exhalation.
- If you are familiar with meditation, yoga, or other practices, you can start with a short practice to prepare yourself to enter your inner peaceful place.

1. going through each chapter, write down your desire & intention and what you would like to invite for your life; it can be very specific, like something you want to achieve, but it can also be a bit more abstract, like a feeling you want to feel.
2. read through all your intentions, and crystalize two words that are the highlight of your 2025


Integration with journalling: (you can set a timer for five or ten minutes or play a soundtrack you love; just let your writing flow without stopping or censoring)
  • What am I proud of this year?

  • What challenges did I face?

  • How have I changed this year?

  • What did I learn, and what insights did I gain?

  • If I had to summarize this year in three words, what would they be?

  • What parts of this year can I let go?

  • What experiences or strengths do I want to carry forward?

  • What am I most looking forward to next year?
